NEON Releases Creepy Teaser for One of This Year’s Horror Movies; Watch Here to Begin the Mystery [Video]

NEON is kicking off the year with an ultra creepy teaser for a mysterious horror movie on their 2024 slate, and we’re excited to share that eerie first look with you this morning.

The catch? We don’t actually know what movie it’s from! NEON is being super secretive about the teaser video, but we can at least present you with a list of strong guesses.

NEON currently has three horror movies in their 2024 lineup, including the Hunter Schafer-starring Cuckoo, which also stars Dan Stevens and Jessica Henwick. Directed by Tilman Singer (Luz), the movie has been shrouded in a bit of secrecy, with plot details under wraps.

And then there’s Longlegs, a hotly anticipated serial killer horror movie from director Osgood Perkins (The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Gretel & Hansel). Nicolas Cage stars alongside Maika Monroe, with Monroe playing an FBI agent and Cage playing a serial killer.

In the film, “FBI Agent Lee Harker (Monroe) is a gifted new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer (Cage). As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the merciless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.”

Finally there’s Immaculate, a NEON-acquired horror movie starring Sydney Sweeney. Said to be a “gripping psychological horror” movie, Immaculate is directed by Michael Mohan (The Voyeurs), with Sweeney leading the cast as “Cecilia, a woman of devout faith who is offered a fulfilling new role at an illustrious Italian convent.

“Her warm welcome to the picture-perfect Italian countryside is soon interrupted as it becomes clearer to Cecilia that her new home harbors some dark and horrifying secrets.”

The clip in question runs just 35-seconds long, and it begins with a family photo of a mother, father and daughter. A call to 911 plays over top of the photo, with the father explaining to the operator that something has happened to his daughter. “That’s not my daughter,” he says at one point during the chilling call, and the clip ends with what looks to be a crime scene photo. There are also strange symbols throughout the video, which are just begging to be decoded.

Watch below and let’s discuss in the comments section underneath…
