Abra Kadabra Returns In Preview Of Next Week’s ‘The Flash’

by Erik Amaya

Abra Kadabra (David Dastmalchian) finally returns to Central City. But as this preview for next week’s episode of The Flash reveals, Barry (Grant Gustin) will have none of the time-traveling villain’s gimmicks. Neither will Cisco (Carlos Valdes) for that matter. But will it force Kadabra to reveal another portent of Team Flash’s future?

Meanwhile, we’re glad to be done with the Mirror Master story. It started strong, and had the show been able to complete it last year, momentum may have gotten us through the rougher parts. But in its complete form, Mirror Eva’s (Efrat Dor) transition to Mirror Monarch was missing beat while other things were belabored. Add in the production stoppage, the former Ralph Dibney actor ruining his future on the show, and the seemingly unavoidable late-season bloat and this story ends with a whimper. That said, we’re glad to see some form of Ralph reappear and sent off with a joke and the possibility he’ll be recast. Hopefully, it will happen soon and we can finally get some proper Ralph and Sue (Natalie Dreyfuss ) adventures.

Back with the main cast, we’re glad to have everyone (minus a Wells) back at S.T.A.R. Labs. We hope the next few episodes give us villain of the week instead of a new big bad so we can appreciate having everyone in tact, happy, and healthy. Then we can dive into the Godspeed story.

The Flash airs Tuesdays on The CW.
