The reality is that the sport through collusion with federations agents and shoe companies, there few options for track and field athletes. How are agents let off the hook? It's on their watch. They're supposed to be bargaining for athletes, instead, it's for their survival.

Why should the Diamond League pay athletes if it's in the athletes contracts that they have to go or they can loose it? Collusion, everyone is on one side, the athletes on the other. It reminds me of the days of amateurism. They have negotiated away all of the athletes power.

Those sports are different because they made the sacrifice to collective bargaining. Our sport will struggle until athletes have a seat at the table.

You also have to remember, the professional team sports are all in Ion making MONEY. Our sport is run by federations who have no interest in making money for themselves or the athletes. Different business models. They love family trips.
