Since I'll be attending one of their shows soon, I decided to start listening to their songs and for the last couple of weeks I've had their albums in rotation and it's really interesting how different they are from each other.
Like, "Excreted Alive" is fucking disgusting (in a good way, since it's clearly intentional) and it feels like having someone vomiting next to your ear. Songs from Symphonies of Sickess are kinda like this.
I'm enjoying Heartwork, it's interesting how this was made by the same band of Reek of Putrefaction lol so clean and intricate!
There are some catchy songs that don't even fit the vibe of Heartwork, like "Keep on Rotting in the Free World". I feel like I could dance to this song lol I love it!
I'm liking Torn Arteries a ton. It sounds pretty unique compared to the other albums I've been listening to so far. Is there anything like "Flesh Ripping Sonic Torment Limited" in their previous records? I also love "The Scythe's Remorseless Swing", "In God We Trust" and "Dance of Ixtab".
Anyway, I want to keep diving into the brutal and strange musical world of this band. Post anything you want to recommend or discuss! I'm here taking notes
