掲載した学生の作品「キュビスムの風景」は、1909 年のピカソと過去の学生作品を参考にして描かれているが、決してその表面を模してはいない。模写や写真的再現性に依拠した絵画は、ともすれば真実を見失う素因となるが、GRAND Clemence、前田祐羽奈、中薗 創、岡 佳乃、PINO-MARTINEZ Camille の作品はキュビスムの精神に遡行して表層的な模写とはならず、歴史に自ら接近し影響を受けることの深い意味と大切さを、私たちに教えてくれる。キュビスムは、世界を多元的に捉えなおし種々の実験を試みたが、すべてはものの存在感を表現することを目的としていた。学生の作品に見られる豊かな存在感は、彼らがキュビスムから派生した課題をしっかりと受け止めた結果に他ならない。経験や体験、色彩の好みや私的な物語をひとつの表現に落とし込むこと、それが芸術的結実を生む。人間はその認識の全てを自分の精神と肉体を始まりとしているが、自分の体験や物語を表現するには置き換えられた形が必要だ。事実の単純な再現は、繰り返されるほどに真実を失い、表層を流れていく。真実は虚構の中にこそ表される。

but the works of, Clemence GRAND, Yuna MAEDA, Hajimen NAKAZONO, Yoshino OKA, and Camille PINO-MARTINEZ go back to the spirit of cubism and show us the deep meaning and importance of approaching and being influenced by history rather than superficial reproductions.The richness of presence in the student's work is a sign of the artist's commitment to the world.The rich sense of presence found in the students' works is the result of their firm acceptance of the issues derived from Cubism. To put experiences, color preferences and personal stories into a single expression, which is the artistic fruition.

Human begins all of his perceptions with his own mind and body, but he needs a displaced form to express his experiences and stories.
