About
EdgeWalk is the "World's Highest External Walk on a Building" (Guinness World Record), a full circle hands-free walk on a 5 ft (1.5 m) wide ledge encircling the top of the Tower's main pod. Visitors walk in groups of six, while attached to an overhead safety rail via a trolley and harness system. Trained EdgeWalk guides encourage participants to push their personal limits, allowing them to lean back over Toronto with nothing but air and breathtaking views of Lake Ontario beneath them. Designed with the highest international safety and security standards in mind, EdgeWalk runs 1.5 hours, with the outdoor walk lasting approximately 30 minutes. Tickets include a keepsake video, photos and certificate of achievement. Participants also receive a CN Tower re-admission General Admission ticket + SkyPod (includes access to LookOut, Glass Floor/outdoor SkyTerrace, SkyPod Levels). EdgeWalk operates seasonally from spring to late fall, 7 days a week, and hours of operation fluctuate depending on daylight.

We went as a couple along with a friend, and due to traffic and circumstances we needed as much buffer time as possible, right up until the very last moment they would allow us to enter and begin. The Edgewalk team was accommodating and understanding, and we got in just in time, so we thank them profusely for how they were right off the bat-- before we'd even begun! Then as we began to suit up and get going, it became obvious how the experience and knowledge they had was giving us all the comfort and encouragement needed for any fears or jitters. Our guide was a superb young lady who helped make the time up there so much fun, often helping us forget our fears (at least for a few moments at time!).

We felt as safe as it can get; their process is rigorous, the suits, harnesses, and cables system is no joke. You will be tested by multiple team members, and they go the extra mile to ensure everyone is made to feel fully confident in every aspect before even entering the elevator to go up.

Also, we'd like to mention that you receive a video of your group's Edgewalk, as well as a couple photos, and you can purchase the full pictures which are very reasonably priced. You'd expect to be gouged, but this is not the case, so that topped off the whole thing.

100% recommended for anyone who is interested in one of the most unique experiences you can have, creating a memory to last a lifetime!

Our experience was very smooth throughout. I went with my family (our ages range from 22-60). I'd suggest this activity for anyone visiting Toronto for the first time AND for people who have visited/lived in the city and haven't seen the city from this point of view. I'd like to give a special shoutout to Steven and Katie who made sure we were excited from the get go to the very end. I loved how they made sure we were safe by checking on our harnesses not just once but approximately 4-5 times. There were "activities" to do while on the Edge Walk and all the instructions were conveyed by Steven so well, it made our experience 10/10. Another thing I liked was that once you buy Edge Walk tickets, you are given access to the main observatory deck as well as the Skypod situated on the very top of the tower.

Tip: If you are going during fall (or anytime other than summer haha) make sure you get a slot for the day so that you can view the whole city and Lake Ontario clearly!

P.S. Steven made our experience 11/10. Loved his vibes and professionalism! The happiest person who loves his job and meeting new people :)

Although I stayed inside the CN Tower, my daughter and husband took part in the Edge Walk together and absolutely loved the experience. The staff were fantastic from start to finish. Extremely friendly and very good at ensuring everyone felt comfortable and got the most out of the experience. They both commented on feeling very safe given all of the safety checks that occur. A keepsake video is included in the price along with two photos. We also bought some additional pictures that we just loved.

We went parasailing last year, so we needed to one up it this year. So, we more than doubled the height--to 1,168 ft.!! And it was incredible. It's completely safe with multiple, multiple safety checks before going outside the tower. Staff and guide are personable and humorous. Great Experience!! It was the highlight of our two week vacation!!

Katie, Mac, Harrison and Team were all amazing staff. They put my family and I at ease. I was terrified last week but was determined to overcome fear! It was the best, most fun experience for my family! No gaming or cell phones or kids in their rooms? Creating life long memories where my family is actually together supporting each other? Soooo fun! Incredible experience! Thank you staff!
Do not let fear hold you back- so worth it! I know it’s hard to believe if u have never done it but I felt so safe…. They take it so seriously and check all equipment a billion times.

What a unique experience! Stepping outside and walking along the edge at the top of the CNTower was amazing! They also had us lean back and lean forward over the edge which gave us different perspectives. Staff was competent and very friendly, and they performed multiple checks of our harnesses to ensure our safety. A video and two pictures are included in the package which will serve as great memories of our experience. The Edgewalk ticket is also valid for a regular entrance to the CN Tower (up to the glass floor and Skypod) within two days. Highly recommended!

Have to say, as someone that is afraid of heights I had a phenomenal time. It being a gift for my partner, I didn’t expect to have such a great time. Our guide, Alex, was hilarious and made everyone feel comfortable while we all slowly stepped outside our comfort zones. The 10-toes being the most difficult, the other actions we did weee easy, compared to the others! Highly recommend this unique experience!

Did the vm tower edge walk at night and it was simply amazing. First off we felt like stars as we walked in the door and they started clapping for us like we were astronauts-it was a nice touch. They put safety as a very high priority and our guide was fabulous!
It’s definitely something to try if you ever come to Toronto. I highly recommend.

Truly was a 5 out of 5 experience. I booked it for myself and my best friend to really push our boundaries and to force ourselves to be present in the moment.
Kristian was our guide who was absolutely amazing and helped us feel safe and confident. Special shout out of Javier who joked with us and kept us laughing till the elevator ride up.
Would do it again.

I have always been super scared of heights. So much so that I even dread into stepping in the balcony of my apartment which is on the 13th floor.

And I can forget about high amusement park rides and even terraces.

But earlier this year, I ended up walking on the edge of the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere.

All thanks to the amazing staff at Edge Walk for making this an experience of a lifetime!

P.S. Thank you, Abdel and Paul! If you read this, I want you to know you guys are the most awesome people!
And whenever I'm back in Toronto I would love to experience the Edge Walk again with you all!
