And access via walking bridges quite easy especially from Opera area. Grassed area has events ie beer sausages pizza tents frequently. The last time I was there was at least 5 years ago, if not more. Now I'm back and I'm quite positively surprised. A lot has changed. This attraction still amazes me and makes me reflect positively on the balance of our lives, fun and responsibility. Which did not change my opinion about the quality of the beautiful sculptures that constitute this fountain. I was surprised. There's still some renovation to do, but it's really good. The gentleman at the TI was friendly and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to assist us. - David RWirral, UK328 contributions2 miles north of city past Philharmonic and football stadium. Bus 52 used for return cheaper than taxi. Get off at Zoo which is pretty small and cheap. One hour for two elderly walkers.
Vast area for walkers joggers etc with lake and restraunts kiosk bars? probably open in the summer but not in March. Scenic and flattish and HUGE area. Plenty of wildlife and noisey swans.
