Terrible. If you want your kids to learn the value of a dollar, don’t send them here. 90% of the kids come from extremely rich families, so your kids are guaranteed to learn how to throw around money, just like the rest of them here, who all carry around their parents credit card and don’t get their first job until after college. (I didn’t know a single person in my graduating class with a job). If you want your kids to experience diversity, forget it. Everyone is rich, white, selfish, and so unbelievably close-minded. Great education, but with the amount of work done and money spent, I still went to the same college as my other siblings that went to public school. BB&N made me require extensive therapy due to the long-term (very subtle) effects it had on me during my most important years developmentally. If you want your kid to be a real person, DON’T send them here.
BB&N has been a great school for me so far. The vast majority of my teachers have been knowledgable, approachable, and good at teaching.
I think that the academics and designed curriculum at BB&N is challenging and appropriate. They also have a great range of clubs and alliances to participate in. However, I’ve found that some of the teachers throughout the years have seemed unprepared for the classes they’ve taught. Additionally, the work ethic of some students in classes feels less motivating when combined with students who want to work hard.
