Opportunity for St Benedict School Matric learners
On 24 April 2024, five of the top Grade 12 students from St Benedict School in Pinetown participated in the World Leading Schools Association’s (WLSA) Post Matric Programme presentation held at Westville Boys’ High School. Sam Bhengu, Amanda Nxumalo, Atidashe Sibanda, Luyando Soji and Sinako Mhlanga were accompanied by Miss Bower (WLSA Affiliate).
The esteemed program aims to provide a fully-funded, one-year post-matric opportunity to eligible matriculants from associate schools. The programme is designed to empower participants by assisting them in solidifying their university or college applications. Additionally, it aims to help them discover and develop their individual potential, thereby enhancing their chances of success in higher education.
The initiative reflects St. Benedict School’s commitment to providing its students with opportunities for academic and personal growth beyond the traditional classroom setting. Through programs like the WLSA Post Matric Programme, students are equipped with the necessary resources and support in order to thrive in their future endeavours.
