The under-11 and under-12 grassroots rugby festival is part of a series of nationwide events which provide aspiring young players the opportunity to play in a competitive event and meet professional players from Bristol Bears.

All of teams playing will have an opportunity to win the prize of a trip to the Premiership Final at Twickenham courtesy of Land Rover. Teams – including coaches, players and their parents – that best demonstrate the core values of our game will be entered into the draw on the afternoon of the festival.

The events are designed to provide young players with a chance to play competitive fixtures in a format that is appropriate for their ages and stage of development, all within the spirit of rugby’s core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.

“We’re excited about this year’s event, which will see up to 32 teams from across the Combination take part in a festival of rugby,” said Community Coach, Jake Ellis.

“We hope that we will see some future Bristol Bears stars in action enjoying playing our game.

“We look forward to seeing the next generation of Bristol Bears players on show. A huge thanks to Bristol Grammar School for supporting the Land Rover Premiership Cup.”

Since its inception in 2008, the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup has seen more than 82,000 children from all over the country take part; enough to fill Twickenham Stadium.

So, get involved at Bristol Bears Community Foundation and support the young stars of your local clubs.
