Brigham Young University Reviews
Rating 4.05 out of 5 8,675 reviews
I love BYU! Living right at the foot of the mountains is the best. I'm super into running and hiking, and the trails here are perfect for that. It's also a great location for those into winter sports. The campus is in great shape because they keep updating the facilities. In recent years, they've opened up some new places to eat in the last few years, and there’s always something good to try. Housing has been pretty chill for me too. I recommend staying on campus freshman year, it's a great experience. Off-campus I heard that some landlords can be tough, but I've lived at 3 different places with no issues. There are also so many clubs and activities to get involved in. The professors are caring and inspiring. Plus, the connections you can make at BYU are a big plus for starting out your career.
At Brigham Young University, there is always something to do. There are a range of different clubs, activities, and sports events. They have a great gym and a beautiful campus! If you are not finding anything on campus that you enjoy, it's easy to find other activities to socialize and meet new people too. I always loved going swing dancing, hiking the Y, and going to the football games. One thing I would like to see change is how housing prices can be high for what it's worth for on-campus housing; I've had a couple of friends who struggled with their apartment management. But for the first years needing to stay on campus, I stayed at Heritage Halls and loved it!
Brigham Young is the perfect mix of fun and focus. It has amazing proffesors and student help that work with your hours so you can learn at a good pace. It also has amazing athletic facilities for fun packed weekends! The student culture is amazing, and there is someone for everyone. Regardless of you're niche, Byu has what you like. It also has an amazing focus on excellence. With a culture of high expectations it is a perfect environment to prioritize your learning for your future. It is also located in beautiful central Utah, with dozens of activities near by.
