“HER NAME’S CHRISTINITH! YOU COME TO MY HOUSE, YOU GET MY WIFE’S NAME RIGHT!”
Who wants an Arnie Palmy?
Arnie Palmy Alert, Arnie Palmy Alert
beeeyooobeeeyoooo
"YOU COME BACK HERE AND MAKE LOVE TO MY WIFE!"
Holy shit, is that where I got that line from?!
Arnold Palmer alert Arnold Palmer alert
Who wants some Arnie Palmies?
This is the one with vodka.
ALAAAAAAAN!!!
Question: what would you rather be, a bear or a dog?
Your’s is the one with the vodky in it
That's all he will ever be to me. That scene was so bizarre and hilarious and has stuck with me for far too long.
“Its because of the beard you would think I’m hairy, no, waves hand over body shaved..”
… ALAN!?
He'll always be Bezoar to me.
If you want bizarre and hilarious Brett, you want Eagleheart.
Holy shit an Eagleheart fan in the wild! I still yell skycrime!!! at friends
YOU COME BACK HERE AND MAKE LOVE TO MY WIFE !!!
We drove like 20 miles
YOU GET BACK HERE AND HAVE SEX WITH MY WIFE!!!
I never realized that was him until I rewatched that movie last week.
What movie is this? I feel like I'm missing out on something.
The Other Guys. I remember it being way funnier when I saw it back then but it still has some pretty great moments
Bro it's still hilarious!
“WHAT ARE YOU? AN IDIOT?!?”
CHRISTINIIIIIIIIITH
I know you might think, because of the beard, that I’m really Harry.
But I’m not.
Shaaved.
That's what I was looking for
You probably think because of the beard that I'm hairy. But, uh, I'm not. Shaaaved.
Arnie Palmie alert!
This one has the vodka in it.
“The Vodkie”
Wee-ooo wee-ooo
My boyfriend and I do the “shaved” hand flick all the time.
Alan!?
Bye Sheila!
Whatever Alan go back inside BYE SHEILA

You come to my house and get my wife’s name wrong!!!
Holy shit that was like, 20 miles
I literally didn’t know him from anything else LMAO
He is a stellar 'villain' in Fleabag.
His character in Fleabag was the first time I understood what talent it takes to play an unlikeable character. He was brilliant.
There's a series of videos he and Tim Heidecker made where they go get lunch and both act as obnoxious and despicable as possible for the duration. Gelman has well-honed "looking like the biggest asshole ever" skills!
I watched Resident Evil with Lance Reddick a bit before we watched Stranger Things S04, then coincidentally after that i watched Dinner with Brett Gelman with both of them, which just added to the insanity.

I might be misremembering, but I think it's just one video, and then they did a follow up years later.
That first one is amazing. And it also kind of soft sounds a kind of dark joke/theme that he continues to riff on in "Dinner with Friends" involving the retelling of the same joke/story twice in different tones for dramatically different effects.
Two truly brilliant comedians. I need to go watch again.
god damn I immediately recognized him from Stranger Things and was absolutely not expecting him to be so immediately hatable

Its an ode to his acting talents that he can go from being so likable to hateable
he was such a fuck in fleabag lol. he played it perfectly.
Also, no matter who reads this: If you haven’t seen Fleabag, watch it. Today.
Season 1 is fantastic. Season 2 is somehow even better.
And then you’re done!
It really is. I've joked that season 1 is effectively the first episode of season 2.
For sure the first season was great but the 2nd had me in stitches the whole time. One of the best seasons of (live action) comedy tv I’ve ever seen, up there with Silicon Valley season 1 (and multiple IASIP, TP Boys seasons) to name a few
Truly. Over in a day, but one of the greatest shows I've seen in modern time. The craziest thing to realise is that it's all from a 1 person play. How the fuck did she convey that story by herself on a stage?
I’m totally gobsmacked by Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s creative genius; I worship at the altar of Fleabag.
6 hour time commitment that will change your life !
I've never laugh/cried so much at the same time for a TV show. The opening scene of season 1 literally had me laughing so hard I was in tears because yes, I can definitely relate.
One of my favourite shows. And yeah I agree, the 1st season is fantastic but the 2nd season is outstanding. So many memorable lines and scenes.
The "No one's asked me a question in 45...", "So what do you do?" thing, "This is a love story", "I love you", "It'll pass".
I'm due for a rewatch.
It’s the fastest binge watch ever- episodes are short. Can be knocked out in an evening without losing sleep.
I maintain that S2E1 is one of the best episodes of television.
Seconded. I held off for a while on watching it for no specific reason and after I checked it out it quickly became one of my favorite shows.
So funny, and yet had me fucking crying on my floor with a bottle of vodka at the end of season 1. I cannot give this show a higher endorsement.
Are Fleabag, Deadpool, and She-Hulk all talking to each other?
I just wanted you to like me!
“It’s not my fault I have a bad personality!”
“I didn’t actually think you’d do it.”
Everyone was a villain in Fleabag.
Jk he was an amazing villain
He's also despicable in Netflix's LOVE.
Where’s Claire?
I watched Fleabag after stranger things so I had a weird conflict of thinking I should trust him and then realizing he’s an actual ass
God that show was fantastic
Yeah and you can watch it very easily over a weekend
He did sleazy and pathetic in such a charming, endearing, captivating way.
He was also a dick in the show Love on Netflix
he played an abusive asshole boss in Love and absolutely killed it.
I first saw him in Go On and been a fan ever since.
good for him, i really liked his role in stranger things
They could have made him a lazy paranoid conspiracy theorists who's always wrong about the real mystery. Instead they made him competent, open to other ideas, and observant.
And really good at karate.
I was going to mention this as well. I thought they were going for the easy lazy "oh I'm a black belt from a strip mall dojo where I only fight against children" and he sucks. Nope, he's a great hand to hand fighter who's skills legit save the day.
Like Kramer lol
Agreed they definitely made the right choice and watching him legit kick ass was fun. Still, I feel the former would have been totally in character and almost as entertaining, if not cliche as you said, to watch him suddenly back out and reveal the truth when the fight turns real.
Yeah the fact that he came through was an amazing payoff to what felt like a bit.
Yeah, I legit thought they would make the cliche he being bad but making the distraction last long enough for the brave chick to save the day again, but they decided to make him save the day for once and that was a great decision!
Stingray
He's the party monk.

That’s what I thought was going to happen! Especially with how much he emphasized his karate skills!
