2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk faces a tough Denver Broncos defense on Sunday Night Football in Week 3. The Broncos rank No. 5 in PFF's grades on pass coverage and pass rush. They allow the fifth-least passing yards per play and per game. Broncos cornerbacks Patrick Surtain and Ronald Darby are both very solid. The Broncos are the toughest defense on paper than Aiyuk has faced all season. But the 49ers offense is the strongest and most complete the Broncos have faced. Plus Aiyuk benefits from Jimmy Garoppolo taking over as 49ers quarterback. With the downgrade on the strength of opponent and the upgrade in the QB situation, Aiyuk's prospects roughly equal out. You should treat him as a "hold" this week.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
