Bradley Whitford watches the 2020 Emmys with ‘West Wing’ co-stars

Bradley Whitford had some of his former “West Wing” co-stars on hand during the 2020 Emmys.

During his nominated category, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama, Whitford was quickly shown holding hands with Janel Moloney on one side and Dulé Hill on his other side.

When Billy Crudup was announced as the winner for his role on “The Morning Show,” Hill jokingly got up and stormed off the screen. When it shot back to the group of nominees, Whitford, who was nominated for “The Handmaid’s Tale,” was alone.

The cast of the “West Wing” reunited over the weekend to film a special for HBO Max called “A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote.”

Cast members Rob Lowe, Dulé Hill, Allison Janney, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford and Martin Sheen are all set to appear, as well as the show’s creator Aaron Sorkin and executive producer Thomas Schlamme.

The cast has been posting filming updates throughout the weekend.
