      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Bloodsucking Bastards gets a few gallons of B-movie fun out of its sanguine humor and solid cast, even if it isn't quite as wild as its title might suggest.

Vito P The chemistry between the characters is not bad and their jokes about the work environment and their colleagues occasionally work. But while the premise could be something interesting, the execution is very poor, the comedy rarely succeeds, the horror and splatter elements are thrown in haphazardly and the entire last act of the film is very annoying. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Omar F Stupid movie that is fun as hell and Pedro Pascal being great helps the movie alot Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/12/23 Full Review bob a It's a great movie and though it may be predictable at some points it's still good. John DeFore Hollywood Reporter Hardly state-of-the-art but offers enough bro banter to amuse, especially in the hands of this unexceptional but likable cast. Jul 19, 2018 Full Review Tom Long Detroit News "Bloodsucking Bastards" simply isn't worth the time it takes to get rolling. Rated: C- Sep 4, 2015 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com I'm forgiving of DIY productions that work without much of a bottom line, but there are some basic film techniques that still need to be considered, and don't cost a dime. Rated: 2.5/4 Sep 4, 2015 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed Bloodsucking Bastard is not a bad movie, but it's not the best horror-comedy either. It's fun and enjoyable, but not particularly memorable. Rated: 3/5 Apr 19, 2020 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X There's a very fine line to this type of comedy, and Bloodsucking Bastards falls over on the side of hitting the same slack-is-hip note too many times. Rated: B- Dec 14, 2018 Full Review Cheryl Eddy io9.com The movie is full of rapid-fire jokes and asides, delivered with complete nonchalance, and the humor is wonderfully on-target and unforced.
