You guys just don't get it. You prolly weren't alive when in living color aired on fox in the early 90's. That what this movie is. It's in loving color comedy. Just like ace Ventura was as well cause for the generations that don't know that's where the wayans and Carrey got big that's why the show was only on a few years. It was so ridiculously funny they all kept getting movie offers so the left for the movies. This is 90's good for stupid laughs it's stupid to be dumb like ace Ventura & dumb and dumber. If you take this movie serious your sense of humor has to suck and you weren't alive or old enough to remember this hit.

'Blankman' at least tried to create a space for the Black superhero, even if, cinematically, this film is a failure. There are probably young Black boys (and perhaps girls) that watched in the 90s and finally saw themselves reflected as a superhero.
