As far as Blake Lively is concerned, Ryan Reynolds is a dream come true.

The Gossip Girl alum used her Instagram Story on Wednesday to gush about her husband and his upcoming live-action/animated movie IF, about a girl who can see imaginary friends.

“What if everything you believed as a kid was real?” asks the trailer Lively shared, before it breaks into a scene of Reynolds meeting a fuzzy purple imaginary friend.

“Everything I believed as a kid did turn out to be true,” Lively wrote over the clip. “His name is @vancityreynolds.”

The Gossip Girl alum then joked, “Well, his legal name isn’t At Vancity Reynolds. But he is dreamy and he is in @ifmovie which is also pure magic.”

In a separate slide on her Story, Lively joked that she “disappear[s] into a role” as Octocat—a sweet wide-eyed gray kitten dressed in a red octopus costume. The character is actually voiced by Awkwafina, per IMDb.

Reynold stars in IF as Cal alongside 17-year-old Cailey Fleming, who plays Bea—the girl who sees fantastical creatures. They are joined by plenty of other well-known actors. Written, produced, and directed by actor John Krasinski, the movie also features his wife, Emily Blunt, who voices a unicorn, as well as Steve Carell, Matt Damon (who plays a flower), Vince Vaughn, Maya Rudolph, the late Louis Gossett Jr., Richard Jenkins, and stand-up comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, among others.

IF hits theaters this May 17.
