Pictures (who won an intense bidding war for the project), including confirmation regarding plot details and Steinfeld's role. However, reports claim that the untitled film is set in the South during the Jim Crow era, involves vampires, and possibly features Jordan playing twin brothers. It's important to note, though, that this information has not been confirmed.

Ryan Coogler, the director and co-writer of Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is set to direct, write, and produce the vampire film starring Jordan and Steinfeld. Delroy Lindo, one of the actors, was also previously cast for MCU's Blade, and Ludwig Goransson (the composer for Coogler's Black Panther movies) is producing and will presumably score it.
