Fascinating and informative tour by a wonderful volunteer docent named Helen! She took us through each room and pointed out everything of note, and told us many stories. We came away with a much greater knowledge not only of the Phelps family, but also of Binghamton history! We then went to Park Diner for lunch, which was recommended by Helen also!

Checked out the hot air balloon rally launching from Otsiningo Park for Spiedie Fest 2023. Wonderful park, lots of green space. Perfect for a romantic afternoon or with family. Highly recommend.

My little guy had the best afternoon here I wish we could have spent more time and if we are back in the area we will definitely visit again ! He loved everything especially dressing up and shopping in the grocery store ! The outside is amazing as well and he would have spent hours riding the bikes and cars around the little road area , moving the stop sign and red lights around !

The Home for the Holidays event is amazing at Roberson! Businesses and private groups decorate the museum and mansion, either Christmas trees or their own cultural celebrations. We go every year and I can see, from the Director to all the staff, great improvements have been made to the total experience. Plan to spend at least 2 hrs. They also have a Planetarium (extra fee, and worth it!) The mansion takes you back to the 19th century Holiday times... and it's a breath of fresh air!

Nothing to do with Married with Children! Bundy Bros. were innovators who founded an automated workplace punch clock system company that would eventually evolve into IBM. Stephen is the very knowledgeable and friendly host; we had a great time chatting! (Loves hockey like me, too!) Also wonderful is coffee shop in building out back, with a very friendly, ecologically conscious young gentleman churning out tasty lattes using sustainably sourced fair-trade high quality coffee beans! But be aware it shuts down kind of early, at 2 pm. Non-museum patrons show up in droves before work, it's so certified real good. Museum is very friendly and has many outreach programs in community, providing space and exhibitions for local artists and various community groups! After I left reluctantly, at 5 pm closing, Stephen steered me to the radio station, 13 watts, small but mighty signal and what little I heard was scintillating, an interview with author of book on the pioneering Chinese-American actress Anna Mae Wong, featured on recently issued US 25-cent coin honoring great American women in history! Really, an enjoyable and interesting way to spend the day before attending minor league game that evening at Mirabito Stadium, home of the AA Eastern League Binghamton Rumble Ponies! Tell me that's not one of the more delightful nicknames ever! I bought one of their fun baseball caps, too, after the game, depicting a feisty young horse equipped with boxing gloves and a club, so this is clearly a pony ready to... well, rumble!! Tix start at $11 and Tuesdays are two-fer-one beers. Now, this additional plug for Binghamton baseball is really something for fans to remember NEXT SEASON, since I think Ponies may have played their final home game already... either that, or they will Sunday. I believe regular season ends for all Eastern League teams on Sept. 17. Hey, actually, I think Ponies are playoff bound, so I suppose at least a couple of home games are in the cards!

Ample parking, ticket line and concession stand moved quickly, staff were friendly and directed us to our seats, and the stadium and bathrooms were clean.

We were there on a kids day, so they gave everyone under 12 a free fountain drink and hot dog and there were bounce houses as well.

We were able to take the kids to the carousel and create some lifelong memories. There are not too many kids in this world these days they get to ride carousels like they did in the old days.

My wife and I stopped here during out attempt to do the Carousel Circuit. First thing you notice is that this is a very large park. There is a very large play area for the kids. Everything appeared to be in very good shape and looked pretty new. The carousel that was the main reason for our visit was pretty good. The worker didn't seem too passionate about being there but did their job fine. We also walked around the park. It looked like it had a nice pool though it was pretty empty the day we were there. There are also several ball fields. One sad part is that there are tennis courts but they have been shut down for a few years as they try to fix them.
One thing to mention is that it has a little bit of a bad reputation. We were there during the day and I felt fine but I am not sure it is the best place to be as it gets dark.

Tried to be spontaneous while passing through the city for the night! Our mistake was trying to go in the winter, should have read reviews that it wasn't open at the moment. Oops! Currently it's disassembled for maintenance and I think being moved to a new location is what I heard. Would have been sweet to go for a ride :)

Located a few country miles outside Binghamton. Easy U-pick apples and berries in season with a great view from the top of the orchard. Stop in to the quaint restaurant for some fantastic breakfast, lunch, fresh homemade doughnuts, breads and cookies. The home fries, homemade soups, sandwiches, and desserts are fantastic. The cider it great also. Get some hot doughnuts to go..can't stop nibbling.

Beautiful, peaceful even if it's between highways. It's like a beautiful oasis in the middle of highways. Beautiful flowers, decorations and a very interesting herb garden, next to the Taste Of NY gift store, Cornell cooperative extension and the Broome county farmers market, which are Tuesday evening and Saturday mornings. A lot of parking and easy walking trails.

There is not a bad seat in the whole theater. There are many great shows, but the bathroom lines are lengthy at intermissions as they are small and dated. Limited conscession area and the seats are decently comfortable, but do not accommodate larger sizes well.
