UConn men's basketball team in Elite Eight at TD Garden in Boston: What you need to know

The reigning NCAA champion UConn men's basketball team is headed to the Elite Eight after the Huskies defeated San Diego State 82-52 on Thursday in the Sweet 16 at TD Garden in Boston.

The Huskies will return to action against No. 3 Illinois on Saturday, March 30 at 6:09 p.m. at TD Garden. Illinois defeated Iowa State Saturday night to advance.

The NCAA Tournament game will air on TBS and truTV.

Play by play will be done by Kevin Harlan, with Dan Bonner and Stan Van Gundy as analysts on the broadcast. Andy Katz will be the sideline reporter.  

If the Huskies win, they will advance to the Final Four in Glendale, Arizona. The national semifinal games begin at 6:09 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 and the NCAA title game at 9:20 p.m. on Monday, April 8.

The Final Four games are on TBS and TNT. The broadcast crew for the Final Four: Ian Eagle, Bill Raftery, Grant Hill and Tracy Wolfson.
