July Reading Challenge: Author’s First or Last Name Begins with a Letter in “JULY”

July’s Reading Challenge is to read a novel in which the author’s first or last name begins with a letter in “JULY”..

I tried REALLY hard to find a “U” or “Y” name but finally gave up and went with “L”.

I selected The Foundling by Ann Leary for this month’s challenge. I will give myself points for choosing a novel that inspired by true events and highlights a truly horribly sad time in America (and other countries, I’m sure). I am very much looking forward to ready this novel.
