ORTELLI, Mark
Mark Ortelli, 58, of Mitchell passed away suddenly on Friday, January 19, 2024.
Beloved husband of Barb Ortelli. Surviving are his sons Réal (Krishna) and Riley (Meghan) and their mother Claire. Loving son of Beryl Ortelli and the late Lloyd Ortelli (1992). Dear brother of Dave Ortelli (Barb), Malcolm Ortelli (Carol) and Scott Ortelli (Paula). Dear son-in-law of Gladys Connolly and the late Ken Connolly (2013). Dear brother-in-law of Susan Dixon (Jim), the late Sandra Connolly (2016), Linda Connolly and Lisa Connolly. Dear uncle of Evan (Kait), Katrina (Ryan), Vanessa and Hannah. Cherished great uncle of Sadie, Ben, Emerson, Vincent and Keeva. He will be missed by Madeleine Cadeau (the late Don - 2020), Louise (John) and their family.
Family was important to Mark and he loved hosting family events. He was an avid sports fan who passionately cheered for his beloved Leafs, Blue Jays and Tiger Cats. He never missed an opportunity to go fishing. Mark spent most of his career working in the retail industry, but more recently was a driver with the Stratford Airporter.
A graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Mitchell on Saturday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Stratford General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
