Melissa McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone are very big Harry Styles fan!

On Monday night (June 13), the 51-year-old Oscar-nominated actress and the 48-year-old actor, director, and writer appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden to promote their new Netflix series God’s Favorite Idiot.

During the interview, Melissa gushed about her love for Harry, 28, whose music is featured in the new show.

“I think he’s just great. I think he’s wildly talented and I just love everything that he is such his own person,” Melissa said. “Not just style in the sense of fashion, but being like ‘This is who I am. This is how I want to present myself and kind of move through the world.’”

“And I think it’s just such a lovely thing to see someone just be like ‘I’m okay with who I am,’” Melissa continued. “He’s also a massive rock star so maybe it’s not that tough.”

Ben added, “If you actually parse it through, he is incredibly attractive, he’s incredibly talented, he can sing, he can do anything, he can act.”

Ben then recalled how the couple’s youngest daughter Georgie, 15, was listening to a lot of Harry‘s music and learning how to play them on the piano, which gave him the idea to put Harry’s music into God’s Favorite Idiot.

“And I was going over the top by even listening to more, like that’s not a normal dad thing to do. I was like let’s play this again, re-rack this,” Ben said. “And then I started listening to it while I was writing the show and I just thought well let me actually just write in the songs that I would like to get. And then we got them. I couldn’t believe it.”

“Harry or his team came back so fast and said sure,” Ben added.

“We were completely shocked,” Melissa chimed in.
