Audience Member I went in just watching it because of Anna Paquin but stayed for the plot. Luckily all major questions were answered by the end because there is only one season (so far or ever?). Really entertaining show. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I wanted this to be good because I enjoy drama series like this and their were some decent episodes but their were some episodes that left me scratching my head and start wondering why I continued to watch. One of the things that I didn't care for was the way Anna Paquin over acted it seems like she was trying way to hard and in my opinion hurt the show a little. The plot wasn't bad but the whole secret brother who was crazy inlove with his sister thing was a tad bit much. I wish this was just a little bit better then it was . Now cbc canceled while season two was in development that makes me wonder will WGN allow the Bellevue to have a season two? I guess will have to wait and see and yes I would give it a chance but if it goes wrong I would shut it off so quickly. I think what happened here is they creator thought the weirder the better but thats not just simply the case their was to much going on in this small city everyone had a problem their was not one normal person in the whole town thats just to hard to believe plus if you just take Anna Paquins character alone look how many issues she had a father who killed himself over a case in which her estranged brother was the killer but also she has a choppy relationship with her older babies father who sells drugs and also has a drug problem and their daughter who has her own set of problems . Its just to much going on here if season two dose get made then they need to focus more on the main storyline and less on all the other issues that Anna Paquin has. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Nuts about Adam & Anna, It's a great who done it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw the previews on this and thought it looked great and it may well be. The problem is the sound editing is terrible. You are unable to understand at least a third of what is being said. Either the sound is too low, muffled, or just indiscernible. Quite a shame here because this looked good. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I completely fell in love with this show !!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Sonia Saraiya Variety Bellevue isn't trying to break the mold of a closed-ended mystery, but it does offer a riff on it that manages to be both cozily predictable and refreshingly contemporary. Jan 23, 2018 Full Review Robert Lloyd Los Angeles Times It has some things to recommend it - star Anna Paquin above all, and its frosty setting - and like most any mystery, it may keep you watching to the end just by virtue of holding back the solution. But it is also full of nonsense. Jan 23, 2018 Full Review Mike Hale New York Times The reasons for Annie's volatility, gradually revealed, become increasingly far-fetched, and it's easy to ignore them and just ride along with Ms. Paquin's likability and intelligence. Jan 22, 2018 Full Review Jenny Nixon Common Sense Media Eerie small-town crime drama is violent but engrossing. Rated: 3/5 Jan 30, 2018 Full Review Mark A. Perigard Boston Herald The brutality, shock and outrage ring all too true. Rated: B Jan 23, 2018 Full Review Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette [The] sort of eye roll-inducing plotting confirmed my visit to Bellevue would be limited to one episode.
