Biden visits son Beau’s grave on anniversary of his death

President Biden spent Sunday morning at his family’s church in Delaware — where he visited his son Beau’s grave on the anniversary of his death.

Biden was seen with his arm wrapped around Beau’s 15-year-old son, Hunter, as they walked to the gravesite near St. Joseph on the Brandywine, where the Biden family has worshiped for more than half a century.

First lady Jill Biden was seen carrying flowers to the site.

Earlier, the Bidens attended the 7:30 a.m. Mass at the church with Hunter and their daughter Ashley.

Beau Biden served in Iraq and as Delaware attorney general before dying of cancer on May 30, 2015, at the age of 46.

The visit came before President Biden was set to give a Memorial Day address.
