On July 25, Barbara Sinatra, the fourth wife of Frank Sinatra and a prominent philanthropist, passed away at the age of 90. On Tuesday, her funeral brought several old Hollywood legends together once again.

The service for the former model took place in Palm Desert, California. Several stars attended and spoke at the funeral, including Robert Wagner, who said he wished their relationship had been more than just friendly in his eulogy, according to the Desert Sun.

In his heartfelt speech, Robert described the first time he met the star, long before she married Frank Sinatra and even before Zeppo Marx, Marx Brothers fame. "She was performing, the band was playing, the curtain was [closed] and out came this beautiful long leg in time with the music," he said. "The curtain opened and there was Barbara. Fantastic. Just gorgeous. I went backstage to meet her and she was great. She was so nice to me. We became friends. I wished that we had become more than friends but that was not to be."

Robert also detailed the support both she and Frank provided during their friendship. "[They] were a great couple, as we all know," he said. "And I had so much fun spending time with them. They were so generous and so great to me over the years. They were by my side when Natalie [Wood] died and helped me so much to get back on my feet and start my life again."

Dick Van Dyke was also in attendance. He delivered the first reading, which he kicked off with a few laughs. "A reading from the Book of Wisdom, without my glasses," he joked. Other celebrities in attendance included comedian Tom Dreesen, actor Michael Dante, singer Steve Lawrence, NFL quarterback Vince Ferragamo, singer Michael Feinstein, actor Jack Jones, actress Suzanne Somers, and supermodel Beverly Johnson.

Barbara passed away from natural causes at her Rancho Mirage, California home. She is survived by her son, Robert Oliver Marx, her daughter-in-law Hilary Roberts, and her granddaughter Carina Blakeley Marx.
