Barbara Michel Obituary
Barbara M. Michel, 86, of Hazleton passed away Tuesday afternoon at her residence with her family at her side.
She was born in Hazleton, daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Wasdovich) Mardyniak. She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Mardyniak.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Michel; her children, Diane Evan and her husband, William, Palmyra; John Michel and his wife, Christine, Hazleton; Michelle Zoscin, Hazleton; Anita Michel, Philadelphia; her sister, Joann MacCollum and her husband, William, Harrisburg; her brother, Stephen Mardyniak, Hazleton; three grandchildren, Kyle Zoscin, Katelyn Senge and Joseph Evan; two great-grandchildren, Lillian Zoscin and Maggie Senge; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's B.C. Church, Hazleton.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
Friends and relatives may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., 542 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton. Parastas will be held Thursday evening.
