By the mid-2000s, his graffiti became more ambitious, popping up in cities all over the world and Banksy started attaining celebrity status. Today Banksy is a household name, with a star-studded list of clients including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Christina Aguilera. Despite his massive following, his true identity remains a secret.
Now, in this museum-quality exhibition, you will be able to view over 180 pieces that have been sourced from private collections from around the world. These include his original art, prints on different kinds of materials, photos, sculptures, installations and murals. Some of his works have even been reproduced with his stencil technique, exclusively for the exhibition. Visitors will be able to marvel at his unique style that blends dark humour, and social commentary, challenging conventional norms and provoking conversations on various socio-political issues.
