Teacher Keeps sharing pictures of a student online

Student Teacher Support &/or Advice

I was this teacher's interning student teacher in a first-grade classroom and had access to class details etc. I noticed two students on the "Do NOT share Photos except for in the yearbook" list. This teacher took lots of photos of all of the students frequently, in groups or individually to share on her Twitter and on the school's Facebook page. Once I saw the list and noticed that these two students were being posted on Facebook and Twitter, I was concerned for these students' privacy because you never know why a parent wants their kid offline and it doesn't matter why, if they say no, I believe you should respect it. I brought it up to my CT and said "Hey I noticed these two are on the no photos but yearbook but their faces are on the schools' Facebook, I just wanted to give you a heads up in case the parents get upset"

She goes "Oh no, you're right! Thanks for reminding me. Her parents were so weird about it when we asked like they were like they want to protect their little girl from the internet."

She said it as if it was ridiculous that the parents want to protect their daughter from the internet. Anyway the CT blurred future photos for about a month until I graduated and left my internship in December. I go on the school's public Facebook page here and there to see photos of all my past students from the past few years and the teacher is now back to posting pictures of this little girl and the other child on the school's Facebook page regardless of the parent's wishes. It just seems super disrespectful of that child's privacy.
