We had unbelievably good toast items (avocado and priscuitto) and banana bread. Fresh squeezed orange juice was nice change and great salad. Not traditional but still Portuguese. Lisbon has many cute cafes and brunch spots that I want to check out and one of the closest one to us in Alfama was Augusto Lisboa. We went for breakfast on a Monday, a little after they just opened. It was the perfect timing as most seats were already taken and shortly after, a line already formed outside. My fiance and I both got the ham toast as it looked amazing! Sourdough with ham, poached egg, and burrata, with a garlicky tomato sauce. I loved this toast so much! The dressing could get a little overwhelming but not a dealbreaker. I also got the iced latte with an orange wedge which is one of their most popular drinks. I didn't realize the significance of the orange until my drink was halfway done and the flavor already melded with the coffee. It was subtle yet refreshing!
