- zdaatiVienna, Austria3,596 contributionsSomething not too miss but is very expensive close to 60 USD but has some cool stuff to see. Not easy find all inside but take your time. Cool shows as wellWritten April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- zdaatiVienna, Austria3,596 contributionsInteresting but rather expensive at 26 USD. Not sure it is worth that but some nice areas to walk and see. Nice to walk through and not difficult. Parking is there as well. The park is free close by so have a walk through, there is a lake.Written April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GoVols79Chattanooga, TN2,916 contributionsWe saw Shrek the Musical for our first event at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The midtown area has many restaurants nearby to enjoy before or after. We parked in the purple lot in the Coda building which is the furthest away of the Fox lots. We did not reserve ahead of time as the show was not full and paid the attendant at the gate. This lot was cheaper but also felt safe in a nice building.
The theatre is amazing with the blue roof that feels like the night sky. Our seats were about midway up the upper seating area and gave a great view of the stage. It was easy to navigate and we look forward to visiting again in the future.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Though it was a Saturday the lines were not that long. The venue gives an excellent history of the creation of Coca-Cola. A lot of exhibits with actual memorabilia. There are interactive exhibits as well. There is a very short 3-D movie which is shown every 30 minutes. To end the tour you are able to taste various Coke brands from around the world. Some are very good and some are just awful like Beverly. It was fun to watch the faces of those tasty the really nasty tasting brands. In the area there are a number of other attractions to take in like the Aquarium, Civil Rights Museum, Centennial Park and CNN Center. We enjoyed our visit to the World of Coca-Cola very much. And my wife was happy we took time to visit.Written April 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AlbertCavPhiladelphia, PA669 contributionsIMO, this is THE reason to come to Atlanta (although a lot of other great things to do here). Really moving exhibits to learn about a true American saint (and I say this as an atheist). The National Park Service Visitors center is very informative, the burial site just so inspiring in a beautiful reflecting pool, the house he was born in (currently closed for renovations), and the Ebenezer Church where he and his father preached (make sure to do one of the NPS talks on the hour at the church.) Do not miss the small exhibit at the back of the second floor of the Freedom Hall near the rear of the reflecting pool - you can view his Nobel Peace prize medallion, as well as the suitcase/clothes/room Key from the Lorraine Hotel. Truly an inspiring experience for us.Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Exploration782167Richmond, KY3 contributionsHighly recommend for all adults and children that are interested in civil rights. It is very emotional, and you will need a few minutes to collect yourself and your thoughts when finished. You must do the lunch counter experience but be prepared to cry.Written March 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travel_with_trippAtlanta, GA53 contributionsFun park with plenty of space for the kids to run around in. Next door to the aquarium and world of Coke. We had fun seeing the Olympic items and talking about the games with the kids. Good place to visit.Written March 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GeorgiaStarryGeorgia188 contributionsEnjoyed seeing the animals and the new elephant enclosure. We were fortunate enough to see the gorillas playing and the pandas chilling.
The downside was dinning. Ate at an off time and the line still took forever. The most concerning part had to do with the outdoor seating. The umbrella would list in the moderate wind and land on people. There were not any employees to assist with this. I saw it happen 4 different times. Each time others would put their umbrellas down. Then a new group would put their umbrella up and the problem reoccured.Written April 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We learned a lot about President Carter and his family's impact on the country and the world. We also discovered the presidential passports you can get stamped at all the presidential libraries and museums.Written April 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelingMamaGlvGlenview, IL285 contributionsWish we had more time here! We only had 2 hours so prioritized the Swan House (excellent tour led by a young man studying music) and the cyclorama presentation but would have liked to explore other exhibits as well.Written March 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
