I decided to treat my good friend to a lunch and a pint for his 40th. He had the misfortune of his birthday in the middle of the second lockdown so I took the first opportunity in the new tiers to have a little celebration...with him. My first and only choice was The Prince Arthur in Windsor. Graham and his team know how to make the best of a bad situation and treat their guests like friends and family. The real gem at this pub is the incredible menu from Rolling Dough. The tastiest burger I have ever had. Unfortunately the confit chicken wings weren't available, but if you get a chance to try the katsu sauce and truffle dip with your fries you won't regret it.More

A very friendly, clean, and safe place. It is a Fullers pub and it serves delicious food. We had very tasty pizzas but my favourite dish was garlic bread but please be careful to order this dish on a date as you will eat lots...of it and kissing you will become a challenge. The landlord Graham came over to our table to check that everything was fine and came across as a person who will always greet you with a smile.More

It was a Airbnb stay to meet my son at the weekend. Having had a few drinks in a bar in Windsor and almost fainting at the price....we decided to take an unplanned visit to The Prince Arthur that wa situated round the corner from...our Airbnb. It was a warm and friendly bar - and honestly served some of the best food. We chose to dine again on the Sunday and enjoyed the roast platter for 4 people. Well, that was the best decision because it was so blinking beautiful!! We've eaten in some lovely high end establishments and still, we'd say that this place was up with the best. Each and every staff member is was exceptional. I hope to visit again some day. Keep up the good work, and don't change a thingMore

We really enjoyed how well the staff looked after us - remembering who had had what, which is rare nowadays even in restaurants. The friendliness and attention, even though the pub was extremely busy, was exceptional. The food itself was average pub grub which was...hit and miss (some really enjoyed, some of us not so much) but we all agree that the service was worth returning for regardless - a great example of a pub that really does hospitality! Our first visit and won't be the last :)More

This is a lovely local pub, the staff are great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The food is decent pub grub - the shepherds pie is delicious! The only feed back I’d have is that the portions are maybe too generous. The kids in...particular, the fish fingers and chips was very big. You could easily halve the amount of chips and serve it with baked beans or beans and it would still be a very decent meal. Overall love this pub, very lucky to have it on our doorstep!More

We have eaten the best Sunday roast we ever tasted! The service was excellent. Everything was spotless. We sat outside and when it got chilly the staff provided blankets and outdoor heaters for us. Don’t miss it!

Visited Sunday 04/02 for a roast. The beef and chicken were absolutely amazing. Cauliflower cheese was possibly one of the best ever. Topped off with a lovely lemon meringue pie. Will definitely be back soon

Looked online to find a pub showing the Eng/Wales game as we were visiting Windsor for the w/e. What a find! This 'proper' pub is a real gem. A great welcome from everyone. The food team were awesome, ordering and delivering food with military precision....They kept us fed and watered throughout. So refreshing to see a gang of staff that really want to make your visit enjoyable. Best pub experience for years. We will be back ..and England beat Wales! ( Tense at times though!) Thanks to the most hospitable Landlord, we had the best family get together. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of TV's to watch the football. As no food currently being served we were able to order food in. Thank you!

They do not like tourists here. The bar tender barely looked up when we came in- grudgingly served us our pints, took our money turned his back and made a point of not coming near us again. There are too many nice pubs in Windsor...to go somewhere they don't want you.More

Don't know what "don't bother" is on about. this is a great local Windsor Pub well known for its range of Fullers Ale. Yes it has a bit of the local territory stamp as you walk in but show a little respect to the custom,...open conversation and you will be surprised at how quickly the place can become friendly. Well known for its showing of all types of sport but is especially busy when the England Rugby team is playing - is known by locals as the place to watch sport . This is not a wine bar so don't expect flashy décor or reserved seating. The food is solid good old fashioned Pub grub at a reasonable price cooked on the premises from scratch. Thursday is PIE Night (Pie, Mash, Gravy & a pint for £10,00) believe me the meal is superb. Sunday is the day for roast Chicken £6.95 Beef £8.95 or feed family of 4 for £20 - servings are huge. Taking the dog for a walk down to the PUB - take it to the Prince Arthur as dogs are welcome (kept on Lead). Suggest you try it yourself and then decide whether it deserves 1 star or 5.More

We have been to this pub four times during the last six months and it has never disappointed. The food, staff and the beer is always good. On our our last visit to Windsor we made sure we could fit in lunch in the garden....Particular the burgers are a standout.More
