Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings is undoubtedly one of the biggest if not the biggest fantasy series of all time, so it doesn’t really surprise us that it’s been an inspiration for many authors from different fields. Whether it’s other authors who have used Tolkien’s series as a basis for their own fictional worlds, or authors who have adapted Tolkiene’s stories into other media, many have been inspired by the fantasy epic and we can understand why that is, as The Lord of the Rings is a truly amazing franchise.

On the other hand, Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto franchise enjoys a similar reputation in the world of anime and manga, as it is among the “Big Three” anime series (alongside Bleach and One Piece), and it is considered to be one of the most popular and influential animanga series overall; the series is currently ongoing in the form of a sequel, titled Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

Having said this, have you ever imagined an anime crossover between these two works? Do you even think it is possible to show Tolkien’s creations using Kishimoto’s style? Well, if you’re wondering whether it is possible or not, keep reading as we are going to reveal the answer below!

AI Dreams is a group of people who specialize in producing AI-generated art and recently, the guys have presented us with a series of AI-generated crossover images showing characters from The Lord of the Rings in the world of Kishimoto’s manga, drawn in the same style. The images are truly great and you can check them out on the group’s official Instagram by following the link here.

The art is truly amazing and it seems that characters from Tolkien’s world could function well in Kishimoto’s world, which opens up many crossover possibilities for fans and fan-fiction writers. We hope you’ll like the images as much as we did and that they will provide you with a new and fresh perspective on both franchises, showing all the opportunities that can arise from being creative and open-minded.
