Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has announced a one-off Colorado arena show set to take place at 1stBank Center in Broomfield on Friday, December 3rd, 2021. The performance will mark the band’s final tour stop of the year.

A password-protected band Facebook pre-sale for the Broomfield, CO show will take place on Tuesday, October 19th at 1:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. MT. The password and pre-sale link will be posted to the band’s Facebook page at that time. General on-sale information has yet to be announced.

While the popular Grateful Dead-inspired act has performed at 1stBank Center before, this will mark the first time the Joe Russo-led band has performed there intentionally. Back in 2017, JRAD delivered a memorable show at 1stBank Center—the band’s arena debut—after an unseasonable late-April snowstorm pushed a scheduled gig at Red Rocks Amphitheatre indoors. The band responded in kind, offering up a Bob Dylan “Shelter From The Storm” debut to open the show and a lights-on, sing-along rendition of Bruce Springsteen‘s “Born To Run” to close it down. Fans coming to the Denver, CO area for Joe Russo’s Almost Dead on Friday, 12/3 can round out a jam-filled weekend with Denver Comes Alive at the Mission Ballroom on Saturday, 12/4. Produced by Live For Live Music in partnership with AEG, the second-annual Denver Comes Alive promises a full day of unique performances featuring an array of live music greats.

In true “Comes Alive” fashion, the 2021 event will feature the world premiere of a never-before-seen band, Ramble On Revival. The all-star ensemble features bassist Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company), guitarists Steve Kimock (Phil Lesh & Friends) and Eric Krasno (Soulive), keyboardist Holly Bowling (Ghost Light), drummer Jeff Sipe (Col. Bruce Hampton and the Aquarium Rescue Unit), saxophonist Skerik, and vocalist/trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), who will pull from their interconnected musical lineages to deliver a performance steeped in the spirit of the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers Band, and more. In addition to the debut of Ramble On Revival, the thoughtfully curated 2021 Denver Comes Alive lineup will feature Grammy-nominated New Orleans soul/funk/jazz/hip-hop/spoken word outfit Tank and the Bangas, beloved instrumental dance band Circles Around The Sun, former Prince and Michael Jackson collaborator Judith Hill, and more.
