Britain's Channel 4 will take a closer look at the sexual assault allegations against Kevin Spacey.

While the actor is in England awaiting trial after multiple charges, a documentary about his legal troubles is in preparation.

The film should be called

Spacey Unmasked

(“Spacey Unmasked”, in VF, therefore) and will focus in particular on the first accusations against the star of

House of Cards

, formulated by actor Anthony Rapp, and on those of the current case in the United Kingdom.

Spacey Unmasked

is an investigative film about one of the world's most powerful and respected actors.

From his childhood to his Broadway success and meteoric rise to stardom, to his spectacular fall from grace when he now faces accusations from multiple men of sexual harassment and abuse.

From glory to fall

The project was entrusted to director Kira Philips and producers Kathy Haywood and Dorothy Byrne.

Critically acclaimed on both sides of the Atlantic for his work in film, he led the Old Vic for 11 years of remarkable success, becoming one of the most important figures in London's cultural life, the friend of some of the biggest personalities and making regular appearances in social columns.

For the moment, no release date has been announced.

Kevin Spacey recently appeared in British court and his trial date is set for later this year or early 2023. Anthony Rapp, the first to accuse the star of sexual assault, is also committed in a civil lawsuit against him, the first hearing of which will take place next October.
