      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

A lighter, brighter superhero movie powered by the effortless charisma of Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, Ant-Man and The Wasp offers a much-needed MCU palate cleanser.

LP Another great Marvel movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/18/22 Full Review Anthony L Paul Rudd proves once again that he's a national treasure and capable of being a franchise lead without any issues. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/01/21 Full Review Michael Good. But the first Ant-Man was better. But that after credits cliffhanger is a dosey! ✌🏾✌🏾 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/10/21 Full Review Jorge C Esta cosa es el cascarón de algo que en guión era muy bueno. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Hadrian M Not as good as the first but a damn site better than it's sequel Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Jacob C Paul Rudd would have been too much for this alone so they needed to balance him out with a co-star in his franchise of solo movies. This further deepens our relationship with Ant-Man as an audience and gives us a break to grieve and anticipate after the events of Infinity War. Bob Mondello NPR Director Peyton Reed and his army of screenwriters haven't made "Ant-Man And The Wasp" a terribly clever movie, but it's clever enough to keep you from reaching for bug spray. And in the summer, Marvel has apparently decided that's all that's required. Jan 27, 2020 Full Review tt stern-enzi WXIX-TV (Cincinnati, OH) This feels like the movie Oceans 8 should've been. Mar 5, 2019 Full Review Oliver Jones Observer If the previous film was a bubbly champagne cocktail of a superhero movie, its sequel is something flatter and more concussive-akin to a series of vodka shots. Bottom line though, as long Paul Rudd is invited, it's still a party. Rated: 3/4 Sep 7, 2018 Full Review Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) It’s not bad... Feb 27, 2024 Full Review Lachmi Deb Roy Firstpost Unlike other Marvel Movies, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a senseless movie except for Paul Rudd's performance which is closer to reality and teaches you some good life lessons. Sep 26, 2023 Full Review Manuel São Bento MSB Reviews While it has a fabulous casting and some phenomenal action sequences, it ultimately fails in giving the audience a decent plot with suitable antagonists.
