Beloved wife and mother, Anne Cecilia Mahoney Arpaia, 83, was called home on Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Ocala, Marion County, Florida. Anne was born May 3, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York to James and Margaret Mahoney. She is survived by her brother Paul and preceded in death by both parents, her sisters Frances, Kathleen and brother James.
Anne is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Michael Joseph Arpaia, Sr. and her six children, Michael Jr, Annamarie, Rosemarie, Regina, Victoria and Peter. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Anne was known and loved for her complete devotion to her family. She was a doting grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed every moment spent with her family and the home was always filled with laughter and joy.
She was a long time resident of Cherrywood Estates where she was an active member who loved to organize and participate in many social events. Her infectious smile and giving spirit will be missed by all.

O’Doherty officiating. A public Visitation Gathering will be held from 10:30-12:30, at Roberts Funeral Homes, West Chapel, 6241 SW State Road 200, Ocala, Florida 34476. Anne will be laid to rest 2:00 PM later that afternoon at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
