Biography

Ann Ingoldsby of Gortkilleen, Co. Limerick, Ireland, daughter of Sir Richard Ingoldsby and Elizabeth Cromwell, was born in 1621. She married Sir Edward Chaloner of Guisborough, Yorkshire, England, the son of Rev Edward Chaloner. Ann was bured November 11, 1704.

Cromwell and his wife Joan Warren) and his wife Elizabeth Bromley dau of Sir Thomas Bromley, Lord Chancellor of England and Elizabeth Fortesque. This Sir Oliver Cromwell was uncle & godfather to Oliver Cromwell born 1599 in Huntingdom who md. Elizabeth Bourchier in 1620 & "died" 1658, Lord Protector of England. Thus Elizabeth Cromwell (Ann's mother) who md. Sir Richard I ngoldsby & Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of England, were 1st cousins.
