Anastasia's father was Anastasius of Byzantium I and her mother was Ariadne of Byzantium.  Her paternal grandparents were Pompeius of Dyrrhachium and Manichaea of Byzantium; her maternal grandparents were Leo of Byzantium I and Verina Flavia of Byzantine Empire. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Zenon and Helena.  She died in 0511.1
