Biography
Anastasia de Montfort, was born about 1271-1273, the elder of the two daughters of Guy de Montfort, Conte di Nola, and his wife Margherita Aldobrandeschi. Guy de Montfort was the third son of Simon de Montfort, Earl of Leicester, and Eleanor of England, and was forced into exile in Italy, after the Battle of Evesham.
Anastasia succeeded her father as Contessa de Nola, and married 6 June 1293, Romano Orsini, Conte di Soana.
They had 2 sons;
- Roberto Orsini, born about 1293,
- Guido Orsini, Conte di Pitigliano
Anastasia died in 1306
