Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas have split after nearly a year together, sources confirm to Page Six.
The Oscar winner, 48, and the Cuban actress, 32, quarantined together and seemed to be settled before de Armas made a recent trip home to visit family over the holidays, sparking rumors they were on the rocks.
While things are over between them, a source close to the pair told us: “There is a lot of love still between the two of them.
“The split is as amicable as can be. Ana is great, but I also think there’s something to be said for the fact that Ben has a family and he really wants to be there for his kids and Ana is in a different place in her life.”
The pair first met on the set of their thriller “Deep Water” and as Page Six reported, they were then seen enjoying a romantic trip to Havana last March.
Sources close to Affleck previously said de Armas was a great influence on the star, who has openly talked of his battles with alcoholism.
And the couple spent time with his children — Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and 8-year-old Samuel — whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Garner, a fierce protector of her children, was said to be happy with the “Knives Out” star’s growing relationship with her ex and their kids.
The source said: “It’s sad, but for Ben, his children come above everything.”
People was first to report the news.
