About All Saints

All Saints are an English-Canadian girl group. Founded in 1993 as All Saints 1.9.7.5., the group consisted of founding members Melanie Blatt and Shaznay Lewis, and sisters Natalie Appleton and Nicole Appleton. They became one of the most successful pop groups of the 1990s, with nine top ten singles (including five number-ones), two multi-platinum albums, two gold albums and record sales in excess of ten million worldwide.

All Saints broke up in 2001 after a fight over a jacket in a photoshoot. They briefly got back together in 2006 and released their third album, Studio 1 the following year. It was a commercial failure, however, the band were dropped by Parlophone and the reunion was abandoned. In 2009, Blatt dismissed hopes of them ever reuniting again.

In 2013, however, it was announced that the band would be reuniting again to support the Backstreet Boys on five dates of their 2014 UK tour. This was followed by a series of shows at venues and festivals.

In January 2016, All Saints confirmed their fourth album, Red Flag, along with comeback single “One Strike”. It was inspired by Nicole Appleton’s break-up with Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

Fifth album Testament followed in 2018. It saw the band working with producer William Orbit, who produced their previous hits “Pure Shores” and “Black Coffee”.
