William Elphinstone later Fullerton-Elphinstone, third son of 10th Lord Elphinstone (1740- 1834), married Elizabeth Fullerton (1758- 1834), 1st daughter of William Fullerton of Carstairs, and heiress of her uncle, John Fullerton of Carberry. His father Lt Col James Drummond Fullerton-Elphinstone later Buller-Fullerton-Elphinstone (1788- 1857), married Anna Maria Buller (d. 1845), only child of Admiral Sir Edward Buller, 1st Baronet of Trenant Park.   • George Keith Elphinstone, 1st Viscount Keith, 1st Baron Keith of Stonehaven Marrischal, 1st Baron Keith of Stonehaven Marrischal, 1st Baron Keith of Banheath KB later GCB (1746–1823), fifth son of the 10th Lord Elphinstone. Created Baron Keith of Stonehaven Marischal with a special remainder, failing heirs male of his body, to his daughter Margaret Mercer Elphinstone. Created Baron Keith of Banheath in the County of Dunbarton, with a special remainder, failing heirs male of his body, to his daughter Margaret Mercer Elphinstone. On his death the Viscountcy of Keith and the UK Barony of Keith (cr. 1801) became extinct.

7th Lady Nairne and 2nd Baroness Keith

  • Margaret Mercer-Elphinstone, 7th Lady Nairne, 2nd Baroness Keith (1788–1867), only child of George Elphinstone, 1st Viscount Keith and his first wife, Jane, only child and heiress of William Mercer of Aldie, Perth. Succeeded her father in 1823 as suo jure Baroness Keith of Stonehaven Marischal and Baroness Keith of Banheath and succeeded her third cousin as suo jure Lady Nairne in 1837; on her death the Irish Barony of Keith of Stonehaven Marischal and the United Kingdom of Keith of Banheath became extinct.
