WEATHER SUMMARY
CLEAR DRY AIR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WILL LEAD TO CHILLY NIGHTS AND BRIGHT SUNNY AFTERNOONS – A WARMING TREND OVER THE WEEKEND
Cool, dry, high pressure will build into the Northeast tonight with clearing skies and diminishing wind. Temperatures will subsequently drop off as well with lows into the 20s to low 30s throughout the region by Thursday morning with similar chill again late Thursday night into early Friday morning.
After the cold mornings, however, both Thursday and Friday will feature plenty of sunshine and light wind conditions. Expect highs in the 50s on Thursday and lower 60s on Friday.
A warm front will then approach on Saturday increasing the clouds through the afternoon and potentially touching off some scattered showers Saturday night into early Sunday. Rainfall, right now, though, looks limited locally with this feature. Temperatures will range through the 60s on Saturday then should jump into the low and mid 70s on Sunday in the wake of the warm frontal passage and then potentially to the lower 80s on Monday with some increase in the humidity.
A cold front moving in on Tuesday will offer the next best chance for some rainfall with scattered later day showers and thunderstorms.
