A Michael Jackson impersonator who also works as a wrestler was filmed taking down a violent pest who slapped him on the Las Vegas Strip.

The brawl began over the weekend when the aggressor - who wore a green t-shirt saying 'Can't Fix Stupid,' - started punching the Michael Jackson impersonator, a professional wrestler named Santana Jackson.  Jackson, who says the attack on him came as a surprise, and that it was unprovoked, took control and threw the nuisance pedestrian onto the ground after he was kicked.

They were seen grappling on the ground, with Jackson clearly maintaining the upper hand throughout. He put the unidentified assailant in a headlock after having his hair pulled, with the two men separated shortly afterwards.

The video was filmed on Freemont St, one of the most popular gambling streets on Sin City. A Twitter user named Marcus Deegan recorded the incident and shared the video with the caption 'WELCOME TO FREEMONT STREET !! hee hee'.

It has amassed more than 1.6million views since it was posted two days ago.

The man, surely regretting his decision to start the fight, is seen closing his eyes before the crowd can be heard saying: 'He's out.'

Moments later, a bystander from the crowd called out for help while other people were separating both of the men.

However, the loser seemed to not have learned his lesson as he stood up and got into a fighting position, as if he was ready for a second round with the 'King of Pop' impersonator.

As of Monday evening, the popular video has been liked by 12.2k users and retweeted more than 2,000 times.

And those who've watched the clip have been quick to crack Michael Jackson-related jokes about the incident - with the vast majority backing the impersonator.

'Oh lord that smooth criminal just took down that streetwalker to get on the floor, rocked his world and left blood all over the dance floor,' one user wrote. 'Oh well, I guess that's just human nature… 2 bad.. I'll see myself out.. Don't wanna be startin' somethin'

Another user pointed out the 'can't fix stupid' quote written on the man's t-shirt and, while agreeing to the quote, he wrote, 'No, you cannot..'

One user shared a screenshot of the man who lost the fight with the caption: 'This is the most 'what have I done' moment I've ever seen on this app.'

Despite the online praise, Jackson clarified that he was 'not trying to hurt this guy just trying to restrain him from swinging at me.'

'Please know I don't think fighting is the answer so try to avoid a fight if u can. Stay safe,' the singer added.

Jackson is a member of the MJ Live Show, a Las Vegas-based tribute concert to the late pop star. Per the organization's website, he is one of the globe's 'top Michael Jackson tribute artists' and is 'committed to bringing the magic of Michael Jackson to audiences around the world.'
