Pensioner sentenced to prison for child sex offences – Windsor
Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been sentenced to prison for sex offences against a young girl in Windsor.
George Hall, aged 72, of Church Road, Old Windsor, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Thursday (25/5) to nine years’ imprisonment and he will be placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
Following a trial earlier this year, a unanimous jury found Hall guilty of one count of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 and two counts of inciting a girl under 16 to commit an act of gross indecency.
He was found not guilty of a second count of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14.
The offences took place between 1 September 1999 and 1 September 2001 in Windsor when the victim was under the age of seven.
Hall befriended the family of the victim and would regularly babysit her, during which he would sexually assault her and make her commit indecent acts on him.
