Class Notes: Main Information: 1. This course contains both (online) Synchronously and Asynchronously. 2. The only synchronous meetings are: the Midterm Exam on Friday, June 14th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (proctored in Zoom), and the Final Exam is on Friday, July 12th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (proctored in Zoom). Additional notes: 1. The pace of the course will be very quick. We will cover material twice as fast as in a regular 16-week semester. 2. The course will require independent learning. Lectures will take place through prerecorded videos. 3. Students will need to be organized and able to manage time well. They are responsible for completing work before stated deadlines. 4. Students need to be comfortable with technology (Canvas, WebAssign, Zoom) and need to have access to reliable internet for the duration of the course. 5. While taking the Midterm and Final Exam, students will need two devices – one with a camera that they’ll use to attend the Zoom meeting and another that they’ll use to read the test questions in Canvas. They cannot use the same device to do both.

Class Notes: 1. This class will be taught asynchronously, and all lessons will be given in videos by the instructor and posted in Canvas. 2. Students will be responsible for going online daily to watch the video lesson and fill out the guided notes that go with the lesson. 3. This class will have two online proctored exams: a midterm and a final exam. Both exams will be given in Canvas and proctored online. The midterm and final exams must be completed on the day and times listed below. 4. You will be required to complete the Midterm exam on Monday, July 22nd, between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. 5. You will be required to complete the Final exam on Friday, August 9th, between 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. 6. The midterm and final exams will likely be proctored over Zoom. You are required to take the exams on those days at that time. The midterm and final exams are timed (you have 2.5 hours to complete them on those days within the time range given) Additional Note: This is a six-week class. That means we cover over two and a half weeks of material from a regular semester in one week. You will need to be prepared to spend at least 4 hours a day on this class. (That is 20 hours a week at a minimum).
