Brighton face Arsenal tomorrow evening in the Premier League, but have suffered a triple injury blow ahead of the game in a big boost for the Gunners.

Evan Ferguson, Billy Gilmour and Adam Webster will all be unavailable for the game through injuries, which sees Roberto De Zerbi’s options heavily depleted ahead of the clash.

Ferguson, who has previously been linked with a big-money move to Arsenal from Brighton, is suffering from an ankle injury, Gilmour has a knee injury and Webster is thought to be suffering from a knock.

Brighton had already been contending with a lengthy injury list, which sees Solly March, Jack Hinshelwood, Kaoru Mitoma and James Milner all already ruled out for the foreseeable future.

Of the latest injuries, Gilmour and Ferguson’s absences will likely be felt the most, with them having played 25 and 27 Premier League games respectively so far this season, while the latter has also scored six goals despite largely featuring as a substitute.

It has not been all bad news for the Seagulls ahead of the game, however, as De Zerbi has confirmed that both Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati and highly-rated youngster Valentín Barco will be in the squad to face the Gunners.

The Italian also confirmed that young goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen will start ahead of veteran Jason Steele, with the 21-year-old Dutchman earning high praise in recent weeks for his performances.

The game is being played at Brighton’s American Express (AMEX) Stadium and could see Arsenal, at least temporarily, go back top of the Premier League table, with Liverpool not playing until their trip to Old Trafford on Sunday.
