I’m sure there are plenty of serious accounts on the mechanics of farce but to save me seeking them out, this play neatly exemplifies the simmer and boil model of magnify-recognise-magnify even more.
It’s telling fun, well cast and Ayckbourn - always escalation not exploitation - offers the commentary without cruelty.
