We visit Able's every year. We love the ice cream and the location. We can get ice cream after a beach trip without standing in lines or looking for parking on the key. The owner is great and customer service is always the best. He...makes a point to chat with my kids every year.More

My wife and I stayed In Siesta Key the week of Thanksgiving, and after dinner one evening, we noticed Abel’s ice cream so we decided to visit. The ice cream was delicious! They also allow you to try flavors. They have waffle cones, cups the...usual. They also give a card and stamp it for each ice cream you get. I believe after the 10th ice cream, you get a free one. We visited the next two nights, and had the last night not been Thanksgiving, we would have visited three nights in a row (they were closed on Thanksgiving).More

Unbelievably good ice cream, fresh ingredients and dozens of flavors including rare choices like "Rum Raison". So delicious. Perfect ending to a day at the beach or pool. Enthusiastic staff greet you when you enter the store and suggest flavors. Awesome ice cream parlor.

The 2 girls Elizabeth and Angelina were the most sweetest people. As we sat here and ate our ice cream, they complimemted something on everyone with a genuine smile. They asked how you were doing and engaged in very friendly conversation while scooping your ice...cream. You are very lucky to have found these girls to work for you. The ice cream was amazing, you can tell the difference between 31 flavors and this place. Homemade and veey awesome.More

Seriously, Abel's has the best ice cream, hands down. I've been eating ice cream for over 50 years and have tried the ice cream from all over the country. Abel's is amazing, make sure you stop if you're in the area, you will be so...glad you did!More

Tucked away in a little mini-mall on the way to Siesta Key, lies Abel’s Ice Cream the high palace of frozen delights. It’s homemade, rich and creamy, served with a smile. My latest favs are Bear Tracks and Mocha Fudge. We like to try different...flavors on each visit. It’s a traditional ice cream parlor with extraordinary ice cream. You’ll pay three times as much on the other side of the bridge and not get the quality you can here. The staff are so friendly. Wish I lived closer!More

We loved visiting Abel's on our way to Siesta Key. Superb ice cream--and many flavor's from which to choose. In addition, the owner seemed to really focus on customer satisfaction. It made us feel so welcomed!

Cool little ice cream shop. Fun rich flavors. Good prices. Everyone was happy with their ice cream from the more complicated flavors to my daughters cookies and cream you cant go wrong. Would go back

Have visited several times and never disappointed. I personally like anything that has coconut in it but everything I’ve had has been delicious and the service is great. I haven’t tried a waffle cone but they smell amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

No fancy made ice cream here. No pay for a bunch of stuff in a bowel that’s definitely not worth the cost here! My favorite place for ice cream. “Real” ice cream like back home in Ohio. When we are in Siesta Key we visit Abel's...often! We love their ice cream and they have so many flavors to choose from. The servers are friendly too! We join their ice cream club and always manage to max it out. We love the chocolate...raspberry truffle and the captain's chocolate.More
